The hotel is located directly behind Katoomba Railway Station, where trains run from Sydney Central Station, with a journey time of approximately 90 minutes. Sydney Airport is around 110 km away.Established in 1881, with additions in 1919 and 1927, the hotel is a beautiful example of the Art Deco period. While cool in summer, the hotel is wonderfully warmed by two cosy open fireplaces in winter.
