Jozankei is a popular spa resort in Sapporo district. The Ryokan provides very good indoor and outdoor natural hot spring baths (shared) and is especially featuring one in outdoor called Kagaribi-no-yu which is huge outdoor natural hot spring bath and guests will enjoy it with view as it changes from season to season. Due to the renowned healing effects of the natural hot spring waters, this area became famous and today attracts many domestic and international visitors. Sapporo Kokusai Ski area and Mt. Hakkenzan with its picturesque views of the ravine mountains are near-by. From Shin-Chitose Airport it takes about 35 minutes by train to JR Sapporo Station.
