Hotel Grangier

Hotel Grangier is a 17th century building located in the village of St Sozy on the banks of the river Dordogne, overlooked by Monges Rock. The village is close to the medieval stronghold of Rocamadour, the caves of Lacave and the Gulf of Padirac. Furthermore, we are just 10km from the A20 motorway (exit 55) and 12km from Souillac railway station on the Paris-Toulous line. The village square of St Sozy is the departure point for a range hiking trails offering magnificent views along the Dordogne valley. More sporty visitors may wish to head off on horseback, on a mountain bike or even hire a canoe to go down the river. The hotel's guest rooms are all equipped with shower or bath, toilet, flat-screen TV and a hair drier. Enjoy country-style family fare in our dining room or outside on the terrace in our shaded garden after a swim in our waterfall swimming pool in summer. The top feature of our hotel is a large suite on the ground floor, antique in style but with all modern conveniences, including a walk-in shower, bathtub and a small lounge.
