The Kings Head

Located on the village green in Lanchester, the King’s Head is in a traditional village setting just 7 minutes’ drive from Durham. The King’s Head offers free Wi-Fi and free parking and en suite accommodations. Each room is tastefully decorated and all feature a TV and tea/coffee-making facilities. Some rooms look out onto the village green. The pub’s bar offers a variety of traditional beers and ales on draft, along with wines. A selection of starters and main courses are also available. The village is a 20-minute drive from the Derwent Reservoir Sailing Club where a variety of water sports can be enjoyed. Beyond the reservoir are the wild moors of the North Pennines and many popular hiking trails. The center of Newcastle-upon-Tyne is just under half an hour’s drive away.WiFi is available in all areas and is free of charge.

Children of all ages are allowed. Children 15 and under stay for £10 per person, per night when using an existing bed. No cribs are available. No extra beds are available.
